Pinn River SEND School, a new specialist school, needed a roof that supported sustainability and accessibility. Bauder delivered a coordinated solution across four blocks, combining green and solar elements with safe, inclusive terrace areas to create a future‑ready environment for students and staff.

Bauder played a key role in one of Edinburgh’s most ambitious construction projects, a nine storey vertical distillery built on a confined, exposed waterfront site. The scale, complexity, and technical demands required a highly coordinated, performance led roofing solution from the outset.

The Cairn Distillery required a sustainable, visually sensitive roofing solution. Bauder’s XF 301 green roof and Thermofol PVC systems were installed, delivering durable waterproofing, biodiversity enhancement, and seamless integration with the building’s architectural and environmental aims.

This project involved installing a BauderTHERMOFOL PVC system with a sedum green roof, delivering precise detailing and complex integration of the retention system across a constrained, historic site.

Romilly Primary School has been in Barry, South Wales since 1893. The Bauder PIR Infill Overlay system was specified to help improve the thermal performance, remove the condensation issues they were experiencing and also provided all this whilst coming in within the weight constraints they had on this Barrel Roof design.

Located in the conservation area of Victorian garden square in Edinburgh, Scotland, this project was originally a concrete office building from the late 1950s. The dated building, having reached the end of its lifespan, was then transformed and retrofitted into a luxury modern hotel ‘The Resident’ in Edinburgh.
