Synopsis
Romilly Primary School has been in Barry, South Wales, since 1893. After a recent internal renovation, the gym roof was suffering from quite significant condensation, which was damaging all the internal upgrades. As the existing roof was a single-skin metal sheet, there were significant issues with the weight that could be put onto the roof. The Bauder PIR Infill Overlay system was specified to help improve thermal performance, remove condensation issues, all while coming within the weight constraints of this Barrel Roof design.
