BauderEXTENSIVE LIGHTWEIGHTsedum
This is our lightest weight all-in-one system available. It comprises a mature sedum on 20 mm of extensive substrate and incorporates a multifunctional water retention and filter layer. The system is suitable for both new build construction and retrofit refurbishment projects. In most instances an additional drainage layer (BauderGREEN SDF) is not required though on roofs up to 2° or in areas of high rainfall, its inclusion may be necessary.
When to specify
This integrated cost-effective system is suitable for both new build construction and retrofit refurbishment projects and ideal for projects where weight and height of the build up is a primary consideration.
The vegetation blankets deliver instant greening of a roof so meet the need for a fully vegetated aesthetic finish compared to a seeded or plug planted roof that requires an establishment period.

The waterproofing system goes beneath, and it can be Reinforced Bitumen Membrane, Hot Melt, Single Ply or Cold Applied Liquid.
