How we manage our business to be economically sustainable

As a family-owned and managed company, we are not pressurised to maximise short-term profits, but rather we reinvest continually in our business to develop and grow sustainably for long-term success. Only if we are profitable can we exist in the long-term and invest in our other pillars of social, environmental and products. Bauder Ltd is managed by a group of Executive Directors that provide leadership to the business, establishing purpose, mission, and vision as well as strategy and culture that our people believe and engage with.

Bauder has grown continuously and is now one of Europe's largest manufacturers and suppliers of modern waterproofing systems, thermal insulation, green and blue roofs, and photovoltaic systems for flat roofs. As a Group, our position will continue to expand throughout Europe and we currently have seven manufacturing plants in Germany, one in France, and Austria and subsidiaries in 16 countries.

Economical pillar of our company sustainability

Responsible business: validating our business approach, ethos and standards

At Bauder, we pride ourselves on honesty and integrity across everything we do. We have a number of accreditations that drive the mechanism of governance and how we manage our business. These can be related to how we effectively operate our processes with our ISO accreditations, through to how we put our people first with our Investors in People Platinum award, all the way to how we bring our products and solutions to the market in a robust and reliable way to ensure our clients trust us and our flat roof systems.

For example, we have recently launched ECO FF, a lower carbon alternative to Bauder PIR.
