The appointed roofing contractor and their individual on-site installers are key to the success of every Bauder roof.
You can be assured that the waterproofing, green roof, blue roof and solar PV array will be of the highest standard as we only allow approved roofing contractors with trained and certified installers of Bauder systems to deliver our roofing solutions.
Approved contractors
Bauder systems are exclusively installed by our approved contractors. They are evaluated to ensure the company possesses the technical expertise required and organisational facilities to manage and maintain an efficient and well-run site. They follow our detailed specifications to deliver the installation we expect, to a high and consistent standard.
They are approved separately for different systems to maximise and recognise their specialist areas of expertise.
Certified installers
Excellent workmanship is crucial to the guarantee that accompanies Bauder installations and so we have always conducted a policy to train and certify the individual installing operatives and not simply the roofing contractor.
Installation monitoring
Once roofing works commence, our experienced team of nationwide site technicians monitor and inspect the workmanship to ensure the standards required to meet our guarantee criteria are fulfilled as well as completing and providing concise reports on how the works are progressing, including confirmation of any issues or actions required.

Maintenance of a Bauder flat roof solution
It is important that regular maintenance is carried out on all Bauder flat roofs, green roofs, blue roofs and photovoltaic arrays and all associated accessories and ancillary items so that they perform exactly as envisaged and that any potential problems are identified at an early stage.
We have general maintenance guidelines for the different waterproofing systems, green roofs, blue roofs and the BauderSOLAR systems we provide.
Documenting the regular maintenance carried out by the building owner or maintenance company is important as a lack of documentation and appropriate upkeep of the roof may impact the guarantee.
It is important to carry out maintenance:
- At least every six months
- After a major weather event
- To ensure the long-term functioning of the roof solution
- To ensure the continuation of the guarantee
