BauderPIR FA Tapered Insulation

BauderPIR FA Tapered Insulation comprises rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam boards with aluminium foil facings. This product is lightweight, with zero ozone depletion potential and provides effective drainage alongside efficient thermal insulating properties.

The Bauder Tapered Insulation scheme can offer an alternative, cost-effective method of providing falls to a flat roof, instead of incorporating them into the structure. It is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects and can be incorporated in to all our warm roof construction waterproofing solutions.

BauderPIR Insulation underwent robust test and assessment schemes by external body British Board of Agrément (BBA). The key components examined include Thermal performance, Condensation risk, Strength and stability, Behaviour in relation to fire and Durability.

Fire performance of warm roof insulations

Within a warm roof waterproofing system for TS1187 Test 4, PIR insulation is not directly exposed, therefore the fire performance is determined by the type of cap sheet and system classification. All Bauder insulants conform to Building Regulations in the same way.
