Revolutionising PIR insulation at Futurebuild

Events
Future Build 2024 event, Bauder stand

Bauder shared the journey of revolutionising PIR insulation by launching a new, biomass-balanced thermal insulation at Futurebuild, an influential, built environment trade event, held at the ExCel in London. BauderECO FF thermal insulation is expected to deliver even stricter requirements to reduce energy consumption and meet sustainability targets.

Bauder is reputable for providing sustainable flat roof solutions that incorporate green roofs, blue roofs, and photovoltaics. However, the first step towards a sustainable future for Bauder is to start the journey towards removing the use of fossil raw materials in Bauder insulation products.

The journey of REvolutionising PIR insulation….

REspond

Integrate ethical product manufacturing that supports the environment and our planet.

REduce

Cut the use of fossil fuel derivatives in the formulation of our PIR insulation and reduce its embodied carbon.

REplace

Utilise renewable raw materials derived from biomass waste and residues from, for example, agricultural production, or food processing, certified by REDcert.

REtain

Preserve the durability, thermal properties, and fire performance of PIR insulation to ensure buildings are well insulated.

REarrange

Continue to look for more alternative solutions to manufacture PIR insulation and adopt the biomass balance approach.

REsult

PIR insulation that meets the needs of the environment and the construction industry.

The biomass balance approach was adopted in the manufacturing of BauderECO FF, showing that sustainable progress is being made at product level. Learn more about BauderECO FF
