Bauder TechTALKS visits Cardiff Castle

Bauder recently hosted a Bauder TechTALKS seminar in the beautiful surroundings of Cardiff Castle.

Guests were shown how to fast-track their net zero goals with Bauder’s innovative roof systems, learn about new and current regulations, and gain valuable insights into the latest developments shaping the roofing industry.

The seminar covered a range of key topics, including: 

• The importance of specifying system solutions that meet CCPI assessment criteria
• Sustainability and decarbonisation of flat roofs, featuring Bauder’s new biomass-balanced ECO FF insulation 
• The latest fire regulation guidance for flat roofs 
• The Building Safety Act from a flat roofing manufacturer’s perspective
• Green roofs and blue roofs – including advancing sustainable building design 

Presenters included Nigel Blacklock (Technical Director), Tom Pugh (Regional Business Manager), and Chris Roddick (Product Manager – Green Roofs).

Guests were presented with tea, coffee, and Welsh cakes on arrival, followed by Welsh heritage wines and canapés once the presentations had concluded.
