The CRASH charity is very close to all our hearts at Bauder, and we’ve been a corporate patron since 2008 and were presented with The Loyalty Award in 2023 for being a patron that has reached a milestone in their commitment to CRASH.

Each year we support the charity by providing professional expertise, construction products and fundraising to create and transform facilities that can provide caring environments for people in our communities when they are most vulnerable.

Our people also support the charity with their own individual achievements to continue to raise funds. One crazy example of this is one member of staff took on the toughest foot race on earth by running six marathons in five days across the Sahara Desert, known as the Marathon Des Sables.

St Elizabeth Hospice provides palliative care to patients in and around Ipswich and East Suffolk to improve life for people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses with specialist support wherever it is needed, whether it is in people’s own homes, in the community, or at their hospice.

We became a corporate patron in 2008 building our meaningful partnership ever since with donations, matched giving initiatives whereby we doubled donations made by the public at Christmas time, and fundraising events such as walking over 250 miles in a relay race sporting neon clothing.

By donating money we encourage our people to have a charitable focus and have added to the funds raised for a wide variety of charities, such as:

• Therapy pony visits through the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity
• Little Princess Trust
