Synopsis

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine required a flexible and sustainable design. Various Bauder roof systems were installed to achieve the project's objectives.

Bauder Total Green Roof System (BTGRS) was specified with WB wildflower blanket to provide environmental benefits, including creating new wildlife habitats.

A blue roof sustainable urban drainage solution (SuDS) was incorporated into the design to meet the building requirements of rainwater attenuation.

The lower roof comprised Bauder Thermofol single ply system to deliver a lightweight and durable waterproofing system.
