Bauder has become a Partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, supporting its long term commitment to delivering environmental, social and economic sustainability across the built environment.
The School is an award winning, free virtual learning platform founded in 2012 to upskill those working within, or aspiring to work within, the construction and built environment sectors. By joining over 220 leading organisations, including major contractors, infrastructure providers and manufacturers, Bauder will collaborate with peers and clients to help raise sustainability standards across the supply chain.
This partnership aligns closely with our sustainability framework, which is built around four pillars: Social, Environmental, Economical and Products. As a manufacturer within the chemical industry, Bauder recognises its responsibility to reduce environmental impacts, support people and communities, and operate transparently while delivering high performance, durable roofing solutions with lower whole life impact.
As a Partner, Bauder will play an active role in shaping sustainability learning and best practices within the industry. The partnership provides access to Continuing Professional Development (CPD),accredited training, sustainability benchmarking, leadership working groups and collaborative content development, helping Bauder to further engage, improve and monitor sustainability knowledge across its workforce and supply chain.
The school also gives Bauder’s supply chain access to more than 4,000 online learning resources and over 300 virtual training sessions each year, covering topics such as carbon management, sustainable procurement, circular economy, modern slavery, social value and fairness, inclusion and respect.
With this partnership , Bauder is strengthening its ability to turn sustainability ambition into action – supporting continuous improvement, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring the knowledge and skills needed to deliver more sustainable roofing systems and projects are shared throughout the industry.
