Trainee Area Technical Manager (Bristol)

We are looking for a candidate to further expand the existing architectural sales operation within the South West territory. The first phase of the role will provide support by assisting the existing established Architectural Area Technical Sales Manager. Originating from an Architectural and proven specification sales background a technically biased candidate is sought to join our highly successful technical sales team, reporting into the regional manager. Candidates should possess a team orientated, pro-active and motivated approach and enjoy autonomy to manage territory and achieve new build sales in-line with sales targets. The emphasis being upon building strong relationships, ensuring reciprocal business, thus expanding client base and increasing turnover to the region. Working within a busy, fast paced team orientated customer focussed Sales & Purchasing Department, this pivotal role involves liaising with all areas of the business with an appropriate and considered approach. The emphasis of the role will be to oversee the purchase team, control stock and import requirements, review suppliers ensuring that business needs are achieved.
