Bauder roadshows get contractors’ approval

Last month Bauder hit the road, embarking on a nationwide tour. The approved contractor roadshow hosted assemblies to share knowledge, update on industry standards and launch two exciting new products.

The roadshow visited Edinburgh, Manchester, Bristol and London welcoming over 250 Bauder approved contractors. The relaxed afternoon session began with an introduction from Bauder’s managing director, Andy Mackenzie, followed by the first product launch of the day, BTRS PLUS, the new premier reinforced bitumen membrane waterproofing system. After a green roof update from Chris Roddick, Nigel Blacklock delivered a technical update breaking down the changes in BS 6229:2018 and Bauder’s response to fire performance queries in the industry.

After a break for refreshments, the session continued with the launch of Bauder’s new tapered insulation scheme. BauderPIR FA Tapered Insulation utilises flat boards and one size ridge and valley infills which makes for quicker installation times and simpler design sequences.  To demonstrate the benefits of the new scheme, contractors created their own tapered roof layout using Bauder wooden puzzles.

“On behalf of myself and Neil Albert Podmore, I would just like to say thank you, to all the Bauder team for your kind hospitality yesterday. Really enjoyed the event and appreciate the invitation.”

The roadshow concluded with a drinks reception, dinner and a guest speaker giving Bauder personnel and Bauder approved contractors a chance to catch up and build relationships. Bauder would like to thank all those who attended the roadshows and look forward to continued success working together.
