Maintenance of Flat and Green Roofs

All roofs should be routinely inspected every Spring and Autumn. The Spring inspection may detect winter related roof damage, and the Autumn inspection will ensure the roof is clear of leaves, dirt and debris before the onset of winter weather.

During any maintenance work, it is vital that safe access can be gained to the roof and that relevant Health and Safety procedures are strictly followed and any fall restraint or fall arrest system correctly used by trained staff.

We issue a recommended maintenance procedure on completion of a roof project. If you would like a sample maintenance procedure, please download the file.
