Benefits
The Bakor system with its method and sequencing of application makes it cost effective against other apparently more economic waterproofing systems.
Monolithic Application
Applied as a hot liquid in two 3mm layers sandwiching a reinforcement layer, the Bakor 790-11 will infill every crack and deviation in the deck to form a seamless monolithic waterproof layer a 100% fully bonded to the deck. This eliminates the possibility of water being able to track beneath in the event of mechanical damage. The damp patch in the ceiling is the point of water ingress!
Durable
Designed to last the life time of the structure it is waterproofing means the owner can realistically expect no future replacement costs.
Self Healing to Minor Damage
The monolithic membrane remains 'live' throughout its life, and minor cuts or penetrations to the membrane will self seal whilst it is warm, dry clean, and under a little pressure.
Installation on Roofs with Zero Degree Falls
The Bakor 790-11 hot melt system is classed as a tanking membrane and can therefore be installed onto horizontal decks – eliminating the cost of screed to falls. The system is unaffected by ponding water, dilute acids or alkalis
Immediate Accessibility Post-Installation
Bakor 790-11 contains no solvents, no two part system to mix and therefore no on site curing requirements – it is immediately accessible for the installation of the specified build up over it.
Complex Detailing Made Simple
The Bakor 790-11 system’s hot liquid application means that it can easily seal to and around complex details, such as metal brackets; “I” beams etc, which would prove very difficult or impossible using a membrane system however flexible.
Low Temperature Application
With excellent flexibility and adhesion characteristics at low temperatures the system readily adheres to clean, dry, and frost free surfaces down to temperature as low as -18°C.
