BRITISH AND EUROPEAN STANDARDS
All membranes comply with BS EN 13707:2004 Reinforced Bitumen Membrane Sheets for Roof Waterproofing and the cap sheets achieve the highest rating of S5, P5 in BS 8747:2007, the UK guide to selection and use of reinforced bitumen membranes.
RAIN NOISE TESTING
The Bauder Total Roof System on a metal deck has been tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-18:2006 to determine the sound intensity level within the building during heavy rainfall. A figure of 48.9 dB was achieved, which is sufficient to gain a credit under Point 5 of section Hea 13 of BREEAM Education 2008 for most projects.
FIRE RATING
EXT.F.AA rating is awarded to the Bauder K5K cap sheet for zero spread of flame and no fire penetration. Tested to BS 476 Part 3 (ENV 1187:2002) External Fire Exposure to Roofs.
