In June, Bauder celebrated its 150 year anniversary. A third generation family company, Bauder has become the largest German manufacturer of bitumen based roofing materials who also specialise in single ply and green roof systems.

Since 1995 Bauder's revenue has doubled by approximately 130 million+ Euros and during a 5 year recession in the construction industry in Germany, Bauder remained positive by investing 30 million Euros into their five factories and creating 150 new jobs.

With the largest growth opportunies provided by export throughout Europe, including France, Austria, Switzerland and the UK, Bauder is one roofing company that stands on extremely solid feet, and who, with continual investment, persists in  being one step ahead of competitors.

As a gift to the industry, on their 150th celebrations, Bauder invested €5 million back into construction.  "We see this gift as our way of saying thank you as well as investing into the future of roofing" says Paul-Hermann Bauder.
