Installing Cold Liquid Systems

The products are activated by the addition of a catalyst and then applied using roller and brush. The sequence is described below.

APPLICATION SEQUENCE

Priming

Whenever priming is necessary Bauder LiquiPRIME is applied to the details first, followed by the main area ensuring the primer covers to the correct minimum consumption (0.4Kg/m²).

Waterproofing Upstands and Details

A generous layer of Bauder LiquiDETAIL is applied to the upstand (min 2.0kg/m²) before embedding the Bauder LiquiFLEECE into the wet resin, making sure that the fleece is fully saturated and that trapped air is pressed free using the roller.

Another generous layer of Bauder LiquiuDETAIL is applied to the embedded fleece "wet on wet" (min. 1.0kg/m²) and the masking tape removed before the resin cures.

Main Area Waterproofing

The embedment layer of Bauder LiquiDEK is applied to the substrate (2.0kg/m²) and the Bauder LiquiFLEECE embedded, pressing free any trapped air to ensure the fleece is fully saturated.

The embedded fleece is covered with another coat of Bauder LiquiDEK, "wet on wet " (1.0kg/m²) to ensure full saturation.

Surfacing Layer for Balconies Only

Catalysed Cryl R210 resin is mixed throughly  with S223 filler with a slow-speed stirrer to produce a homogenous mixture, RS233.

The RS233 is the appled with a trowel.

The quartz aggregate is quickly embedded whilst the resin is still wet, by broadcasting to excess.

The excess is then swept off once cured.

A generous layer of Cryl Finish 205 is applied (0.5Kg/2²) to the details first and the masking tape removed while the resin is still wet. The deck is then treated by pouring the Cryl Finish (0.65Kg/m²), and spreading with a hard rubber squeegee, then back rolling with a dry lambswool roller.
